Christies is a popular, well known Bistrot, Bar and Restaurant situated in the heart of St Peter Port, Guernsey.
Opened in 1996, it has become a real Guernsey Establishment! Family owned, Mr and Mrs Holland remain very much hands on in the day to day running, assisted by the General Manager Paul Johnson and Head Chef Lyndsey Craggs.
The Bistrot and Bar open at 8:00am every day for breakfast and coffees. Light snacks, fresh seafood, sandwiches, early dinners, full meals, cakes and pastries are available throughout the day with food being served until 22:30pm. The bar is open until 00:30am seven days per week for an extensive range of wines by the glass, a bottle perhaps, your favourite cocktail, a gin and tonic or a nice beer! Live music 4 nights per week, Wednesday through Saturday from 20:30pm til late. The atmosphere at weekends must be seen!
The Restaurant is also open seven days per week serving lunch from 12:00pm until 14:30pm and dinner from 17:15pm until 22:30pm. A tremendous value set lunch runs from Monday to Friday, with an extensive set lunch menu available on Sundays. Both change weekly. Our Early Dinner Menu is also noted for its value at just £10.95 for three courses. The A La Carte menu offers options for everyone, from fresh seafood, meat, game and poultry to pasta and a large selection of vegetarian options.
Christies has one of the most comprehensive wine lists on the island, with over 180 different wines offered, including a good selection of roses and large selection of champagnes.
A recent addition to Christies is our first floor private dining room. With your own private bar and terrace overlooking the harbour it is the ideal setting for a family lunch, birthday dinner, engagement, business meeting, special events and canapé parties. Able to accommodate 14 guests for lunch/dinner and 65-70 guests for a canapé party, please contact one of our managers who will tailor your event to your individual needs.
